"FANTASY WARGAMING" is not quite the same thing as fantasy-roleplaying. In a roleplaying game each figure is a person or "character" in a quest searching for adventure and/or treasure, whereas in fantasy-wargaming whole armies confront each other in very much the same way as is done in e.g. medieval- or napoleonic wargaming. Whilst reading "the Lord of the Rings", who has not seen in his or her imagination the dark orc-regiments stream out of Mordor to engage the Forces of Light on the Pelennor Fields? It can all be done in miniature...
